Why Convert Excel to Word?

Can I convert one Excel file or multiple at once?

Both. Pick one file for a single conversion, or queue up to 10 files (.xlsx and .xls mixed) and convert them in a single batch. Each file is converted sequentially with a progress indicator showing which is currently running.

Are tables and formulas preserved?

Tables transfer to Word as native, editable .docx tables — column structure and visible cell values are kept. Formulas are flattened to their computed values (Word has no formula engine), and complex Excel features like pivot tables and charts may come across as static representations rather than live objects.

What about multi-sheet workbooks?

Each worksheet typically becomes its own section in the resulting .docx, usually with the sheet name as a heading. Order follows the workbook tab order.

What are the file size and batch limits?

25 MB per file and 100 MB total per batch on the free tier, with a cap of 10 files per session. Most spreadsheets fit well within these limits.

What happens if one file fails?

The batch keeps going. The failed file is marked in the file list and gets a Retry button so you can re-run just that one — the rest of the batch isn't affected.

How do I download multiple converted files?

Each converted .docx gets its own Download button. If two or more succeed, a single "Download all as ZIP" button appears at the bottom that bundles them into one .zip archive.
