Can I convert one Word file or multiple at once?

Both. Pick one file for a single conversion, or queue up to 10 files (.docx and .doc mixed) and convert them in a single batch. Each file is converted sequentially with a progress indicator showing which is currently running.

Are tables preserved as Excel cells?

Tables transfer to Excel as native rows and columns — column structure and cell values are kept. Body text (paragraphs outside tables) typically lands in its own cells too, one paragraph per row. Complex Word features like footnotes, embedded equations, and SmartArt may not come across cleanly.

What about non-tabular Word content?

Plain paragraphs convert to text in Excel cells (usually one paragraph per row). Headings and styling are largely lost — Excel doesn't have the same paragraph model. For best results, use Word documents that are mostly tables and structured data.

What are the file size and batch limits?

25 MB per file and 100 MB total per batch on the free tier, with a cap of 10 files per session. Most Word documents fit well within these limits.

What happens if one file fails?

The batch keeps going. The failed file is marked in the file list and gets a Retry button so you can re-run just that one — the rest of the batch isn't affected.

How do I download multiple converted files?

Each converted .xlsx gets its own Download button. If two or more succeed, a single "Download all as ZIP" button appears at the bottom that bundles them into one .zip archive.
